Sahoolan cave, a wonder in creation, is considered the second water cave after the cave of Alisadr in Hamedan. It is located in a pleasant climate and each four season it has beauties and splendor to offer. It boasts beautiful landscapes especially the high mountains blanketed in snow in wintertime, and its vegetation ( herbs and edible plants) in spring. It is situated 43 km east of the city of Mahabad , between the road from Mahabad to Bukan. It dates from the second geologic period (Cretaceous).
